Due to this, her father would soon distance himself from her and Lois would move to Metropolis to become a reporter for the Daily Planet.

Meeting Superman[]

Lois' time at the Daily Planet allowed her to meet the rough-neck Perry White and stammering Jimmy Olsen as her pursuit to expose corruption and use her journalism skills to better the world became more prominent. She would soon be joined by the mild-mannered Clark Kent and often partnered with him on the field due to their united passion over helping the less fortunate. Simultaneously, Lois became enamoured by the arrival of Superman and was the first reporter to personally interview him, not knowing that he was in fact Clark himself. This led to Lois and Superman becoming close as she began writing articles on the superhero, catapulting her to become a Pulitzer Prize winner and world-renowned journalist. At some point, she maintained a friendly rivalry with fellow journalist Iris West, who hailed from Central City's Picture News.

However, her quick thinking and the aid of Superman would help her whenever possible. Additionally, she is known to tease her fellow reporter Clark Kent, nicknaming him "Smallville" after his childhood home.

Appearance[]

Lois is typically seen wearing standard attire for a reporter with her Daily Planet journalism I.D card around her neck.
